Results from "Call for Research Proposals on education and health production functions"


Dear colleague,

The following table shows the Research Proposals accepted as background papers for UNDP´s LAC-Regional Report on the Intergenerational Transmission of Inequality in Human Development, to be published in Fall 2009. These Research Proposals were selected from the Second Call for Papers issued last Summer. The selection committee based its decisions on the technical quality of the proposals and on their relevance for policy recommendations.

Results of the new call for papers


Dear colleague,
Due to the quality and number of proposals received, prior to make any decission about the selection of them, we have decided to have another round of consultations with the referees.

We are aiming at finishing the selection process by Thursday, September 25th.

We will contact by email with each one of the participants as soon as we have the results

New Call for Research Proposals. Education and Health.


Dear colleague,

A new call for Research Proposals was issued on July 31st, 2008 (see full text in here). This time, we are seeking to select Research Proposals on
a) Households' Demand for Education/Education Production Functions
b) Households' Health Production Functions.

The RBLAC-UNDP 2009 Regional Report on Inequality in Human Development project will provide between US$6.000 and US$12.000 for each selected RP. We expect to select at least 5 Research Proposal for each topic.
